Along with the new trims, the Altroz also gets new features as standard across the range.
Tata Motors has introduced two new trims on its Altroz premium hatchback – XM & XM(S) – that are available only with the 1.2 petrol-manual powertrain. They are priced at Rs 6.90 lakh and Rs 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. These new trims get features like a sunroof, height adjustable driver’s seat and more. Additionally, other variants of the Altroz also get new features as standard.

Tata Altroz XM, XM(S): what do they get?
The Altroz XM comes with features such as steering-mounted controls, height adjustable driver’s seat, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and 16-inch steel wheels with wheel cover. The XM(S) trim, on the other hand, also gets a sunroof over the XM trim. A 9-inch touchscreen is available as an optional extra on both trims.
Tata Altroz new features
Tata Motors also announced that all petrol-manual variants of the Altroz will now get four power windows and keyless entry as standard. Additionally, the petrol-manual configuration of the XE, XM+, XM+(S) and XT variants also get new features, which are as follows:
The XE gets follow-me-home lamps, while the XM+ and XM+(S) trims now get a reverse camera, height adjustable driver’s seat and cruise control. Lastly, the XT trim also gets a height adjustable driver’s seat, 16-inch hyperstyle wheels and a rear defogger.
Tata Altroz rivals
The Tata Altroz rivals the Hyundai i20 (Rs 7.46 lakh–11.88 lakh), Maruti Suzuki Baleno (Rs 6.61 lakh–9.88 lakh) and the Toyota Glanza (Rs 6.81 lakh–10.00 lakh).
Tata SUV price hike
Tata Motors had recently hiked the prices of the Nexon, Harrier and Safari by 0.6 percent – up to Rs 20,000. However, SUVs booked before July 16, 2023 will be exempted from this price hike.
