Suzuki Hayabusa 25th anniversary edition changes
The changes to the Hayabusa special edition are purely cosmetic with a special Orange/Black paint and special anodised gold colour for bits like the drive chain adjuster. The ‘Kanji’ logo adorns the twin mufflers and the tank features a three-dimensional Suzuki logo. The single seat cowl is standard for all markets other than Japan.
Suzuki Hayabusa powertrain and electronics details
This special edition Hayabusa is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 1,340 cc, inline-four engine found in the standard bike and produces an identical 190hp and 150Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed transmission, coupled with a bi-directional quickshifter.Â
In 2021, Suzuki finally updated its legendary hyperbike with electronic aids such as riding modes, power modes, traction control and cruise control.Â
Suzuki Hayabusa price and rivals
The 25th anniversary edition Hayabusa will go on sale in the coming weeks internationally, but there’s no mention of its release in India yet. Currently, the Suzuki Hayabusa costs Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). If this special edition model does make its way here, expect it to command a premium over the standard model.
