The Burgman Street EX has a 12-inch rear wheel and some extra tech over the standard model but also costs substantially more.
I am planning to get a 125cc scooter and have shortlisted the Suzuki Burgman Street 125. Should I go for the standard model or the new EX variant with the larger, 12-inch rear wheel? Â

Autocar India says: The Suzuki Burgman Street EX is a good pick in the 125cc scooter class. It gets the rather convenient start/stop system, a silent starter and of course, a larger 12-inch rear wheel. However, priced at Rs 1.12 lakh, the Burgman Street EX costs a substantial Rs 22,400 more than the standard Burgman and Rs 19,000 more than the Ride Connect version. At this price, it does come across as being expensive for what it offers. So, unless you really want the quietness of the silent start system and the convenience of the start-stop technology, you’d see more value in opting for one of the other variants from the line-up and saving yourself some cash.
