The Seltos, Hector and Compass all have different pros and cons. But here’s what we’d pick for long distance travels.
I am looking to buy an SUV and I am confused between the Jeep Compass, Kia Seltos and MG Hector. My objective is to go on long trips, apart from regular city use. Which one would you recommend? Also, should I go for a manual or an automatic?

All three cars belong to different segments. The feature-packed Seltos is the most compact of the lot, and its size makes it the easiest to manoeuvre in the city, whereas the Hector is larger and the most spacious of the bunch. The Jeep, in its diesel-automatic guise is the nicest to drive, and for long journeys or for mild off-roading, this is the best option.
