Sushmita Sen recently added a new birth date on her Instagram bio. She has now reacted to the same with a sunkissed selfie.
Sushmita Sen recently left her fans curious after she mentioned her “second date of birth” on her Instagram account. In her bio, she wrote, “Second D.O.B: 27/02/2023.” FYI: the date commemorates a significant event. Reacting to the same, the actress has now shared a new selfie, flaunting her new look. Sharing the photo, she wrote, “#newlook ❤️ kisses from #Dubai Missed you guys!!! Lots of love #yourstruly #duggadugga.”

While fans are confused, some think Sushmita Sen’s second date of birth is linked with the heart attack she suffered last year. To give you some background, the Main Hoon Naa actress confirmed last year that she survived a massive heart attack in February 2023. The unfortunate incident took place on the sets of her web show Aarya season 3.
Back in March 2023, Sushmita Sen posted a picture with her father on Instagram. She wrote, “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back. Angioplasty done. stent in place and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’ Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action. will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (my well wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news. That all is well & I am ready for some life again!!! I love you guys beyond!!!! #godisgreat #duggadugga (sic).”
Later, Sushmita Sen underwent surgery and made a remarkable recovery. The actress bounced back, winning our hearts with her performance in Aarya Season 3 and Taali: Bajaungi Nahi, Bajwaungi. However, the date now marks a pivotal moment in her life. besides, it also remains etched in the hearts of her fans, symbolizing her “second date of birth.”
Post her recovery, Sushmita Sen opened up on the change that her health condition brought into her life. In an exclusive chat with last year, she said, “It was a phase and it passed. I am very lucky to be on the other side.” Adding that the incident made her more responsible, she continued, “It doesn’t make me fearful now, instead I now have a feeling of promise, of something to look forward to. When you get a new lease on life, you respect it and are more careful.”
We must admit that Sushmita Sen is the epitome of strength, confidence, and grace. The former Miss Universe is a mother of two adopted daughters, Renee and Alisah whom they adopted in 2000 and 2010 respectively.
