Sushmita Sen joined the Durga Puja festivities in Mumbai by donning a resplendent Pink Saree.
Sushmita Sen is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. Most known for playing Miss Chandini alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Kal Ho Na Ho, Sushmita often takes the internet by storm with her impeccable fashion sense, bold candour and wit. On the occasion of Durga Puja, the actress was recently seen visiting a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai, where she got snapped by the paparazzi.
On Saturday, popular paparazzo handle Varinder Chawla took to their Instagram handle and shared a clip, showing Sushmita Sen in a beautiful yet simple Pink saree. The actress also accentuated her look with a pink lip colour, glam makeup, exquisite bangles and earrings. She kept her hair tied in a ponytail, as she proceeded to greet people around her. The Aarya actress also paused and shared an adorable moment with a group of kids.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sushmita Sen announced the third season of Aarya on social media earlier this year. The filming for the new season of her Emmy-nominated thriller series wrapped up only recently, despite the actress suffering a heart attack earlier this year. Last week, Sushmita announced that the latest season of the series will premiere from November 3 onwards.
Sushmita told India Today about Aarya Season 3: “It’s a new day for Aarya Sareen, and she’s ready for it. In Season 3, she is going places and writing her own story, free of her past. Replacing Aarya is like slipping into old jeans for a brand-new adventure.” Helmed by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, Aarya is an official remake of the popular Dutch crime-drama Penoz, which revolves around a middle-aged woman and her struggle to save her family while battling all odds.
Sushmita Sen returns as Aarya Sareen in the new season and she will be joined by Ila Arun, Sikandar Kher, Indraneil Sengupta, Vikas Kumar, Maya Sarao, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Shweta Pasricha, Viren Vazirani, Pratyaksh Panwar, Aarushi Bajaj, Bhupendra Jadawat and Vishwajeet Pradhan amongst others.
Returning as Aarya, Sushmita Sen also said, “Aarya is the brightest jewel in my crown. Portraying her has been an empowering journey. What fuels my excitement for season 3 of Aarya is that she’s totally unabashed and ruling the game of life once played with her. She’s making new enemies and new allies because this Sherni is now the new Don in town.
