Sunny Deol’s post comes at a time when Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the global box office.
Sunny Deol has congratulated Salman Khan for the success of his recently released movie, Tiger 3. Late Monday night, Sunny took to his Instagram handle and dropped an unseen photo with ‘Tiger’ aka Salman. In the never-seen-before picture, Sunny kept his arm around Salman; ‘s shoulder as the two posed for the cameras. While Salman looked dapper in a blue shirt, Sunny sported a grey t-shirt and layered it with a blazer.
However, what caught everyone’s attention was the caption of Sunny’s post. In the caption, the Gadar 2 actor wrote, “Jeet gaye”. This left netizens wondering if the actor was hinting at ‘Jeet’ sequel with his post. Released in 1996, the film starred Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Tabu in key roles.
Fans also reacted to Sunny’s post and wondered if Jeet 2 is coming soon. “Who agrees for Jeet 2?” one of the fans wrote. “Dono ko sath Mein Aana chaiye ek action packed movie ke sth.. Like jeet,” another comment read.
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol’s post comes at a time when Salman Khan is enjoying the success of Tiger 3. Released on November 12, the film has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the global box office.
Recently, Salman Khan also shared that he is overwhelmed with the response Tiger 3 is getting from the audience. “I’m delighted with the response from the audience and fans for Tiger 3! They have given the film a brilliant start and I’m happy that the third part of this franchise is also scripting a success story. Tiger is a franchise that is close to my heart. So, to see it get more and more love film after film is really special. I hope the film continues to entertain audiences worldwide,” he said.
Prior to this, Katrina Kaif also shared that she is ‘extremely happy’ about Tiger 3’s success at the box office. “I feel extremely happy. I think being able to entertain the audience is what gives us the most joy, what gives me the most joy and the audience’s love is what allows us to keep making the Tiger franchise. And that’s a big passion, I think for all of us. It’s one of my most loved films. It’s so dear to my heart. And I think it’s all now become a big part of our lives,” she said.
Tiger 3 marks the third film in Yash Raj Films’ OG spy franchise. It is directed by Maneesh Sharma. Besides Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, along with Kumud Mishra, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra and Anant Vidhaat. Shah Rukh Khan also made an action-packed cameo in the movie.
