Suniel Shetty dropped a post on Instagram comprising a drool-worthy picture of the birthday boy attached to an emotional note.
Ahan Shetty turns 29 today. Fans have been pouring in heartfelt wishes for the actor. Celebrities, too, are also not far behind. The most touching wish came from his father and Bollywood star Suniel Shetty. He dropped a post on Instagram comprising a drool-worthy picture of the birthday boy attached to an emotional note. Well, the proud father did not hold back his love while extending the wish to his son, we must say.
Suniel Shetty’s note for his son Ahan Shetty read, “Happy birthday, my phantom. With a heart as pure and extraordinary as yours, you deserve nothing less than the world. Know that I love you, support you and believe in you—always and forever.” In the picture, we can see Ahan clicking a mirror selfie flaunting his toned muscles and chiseled body. Sporting a vest and a cap, he looked gym-ready, making fans weak on their knees.
Suniel Shetty is indeed a proud dad and why not? Ahan Shetty was officially announced earlier this year to be a part of Border 2, the prequel of which starred Suneil in a pivotal role. Following the announcement, the actor could not contain his joy and turned to social media to reflect on the emotional moment. In a post shared on the photo-sharing application, he wrote, “The journey I started years ago has now come full circle.”
“So proud to see you step into the world of Border. The journey I started years ago has now come full circle. I know you will give it your everything. This one’s extra special for obvious reasons—it’s all heart,” he added.
Meanwhile, filming for Border 2 has officially begun. The highly anticipated sequel also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in the lead roles. As the actors are set to bring the characters to life in the action-packed saga, the T-series shared the first glimpse from the set, announcing its release date.
The Anurag Singh directorial, powered by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, is set to hit theatres on January 23, 2026. The upcoming war drama aims to honour the legacy of the iconic original while adding new elements to ensure a cinematic experience.
