Suhana Khan will soon be making her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
Friday Night was no less than a star studded affair in BTown. Several Bollywood celebrities were seen attending a party setting their best fashion foot forward. Among them, Suhana Khan along with mom Gauri were also seen arriving for the same.
Suhana Khan looked all things pretty in an all black ensemble. She made heads turn in a black cut out T shirt, which she teamed with striped trousers. Her wavy locks added the much needede charm. Gauri Khan on the other hand donned a black printed crop top with trousers. The duo surely dished out major mother-daughter goals.

Meanwhile on the work front, Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan will be making her much-anticipated Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. Apart from Suhana, the film will also mark the acting debut of Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.
The cast of The Archies recently treated fans to the film’s song Sunoh. ‘Sunoh,’ is a song created by the ingenious duo of Ankur Tewari and The Islanders, lyrically woven by the maestro Javed Akhtar and the young and talented Dot, harmoniously performed by Tejas Menon and Shivam Mahadevan. ‘Sunoh’ helps viewers to immerse into the exciting world of ‘The Archies,’ introducing the characters of the film.
Now, Shah Rukh khan has taken to social media to react to the song. Taking to his Instagram and sharing the song, he wrote, “This is so quaint and beautiful the world of The Archies. Also my motivation line for today is ‘Trading my shoes in for wheels under my feet’!” He also tagged director Zoya Akhtar and the entire cast of The Archies.
The movie, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is slated for a release later this year. On Father’s Day Shah Rukh Khan gave a shout-out to his daughter Suhana and re-shared the teaser clip of The Archies. The superstar wrote, “On Father’s Day here’s wishing the best to my baby… all the babies… and Tiger Baby… for The Archies!.”
In the Netflix film, Suhana plays Veronica, a character she described as someone with a magnetic personality. “She is unabashedly herself and she knows her worth. That’s something I’m learning from her,” she added.
According to the makers, the 1960s-set film explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion through the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton. It will take audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale.
The Archies is all set to release on December 7 on Netflix.
