Suhana Khan is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
Suhana Khan is soon to make her big Bollywood debut but she has already secured a place in everybody’s hearts with her impeccable sartorial sense. The young diva has her heart in the right place when it comes to fashion. Having said that, on the auspicious occassion of Diwali, she sent out the season’s greetings of herself dressed in a gorgeous sequin saree.
Suhana looked like a complete vision to behold. Subtle make up, with her wavy locks left loose, she found the right balance between elegance and charm. One can say, sarees do have a special spot in the actress’ closet. Over the last couple of years, fans have seen her sporting some lovely sarees and it is no secret that she is quite the saree girl.
The 23-year-old, who is set to make her film debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, recently spoke at the India Today Conclave’s session titled ‘New Kids on the Block: Meet the Gen Z of Bollywood aka The Archies Gang’. “My biggest source of guidance are my parents and actually, my entire family. I feel like we all chip in and help each other out… I ask Mom ‘Was that okay? Is my hair okay? Is my outfit okay?,” Suhana said.
The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is an Indian live-action musical movie based on the popular American comics of the same name. It also marks the acting debut of late star Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor (Betty), and megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda (Archie).
Earlier this month, the makers of The Archies dropped the second track titled Va Va Voom, a lively tribute to the 1960s rock and roll era. The song captures the essence of timeless rock and roll tunes and features Dot (Aditi), Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda. What caught our attention was Agastya Nanda’s rendition of Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dance moves. The song boasts relatable and romantic lyrics. Agastya Nanda’s guitar strumming adds a touch of romance, complemented by dance sequences featuring Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, along with other co-stars. The video features their dance skills, with Agastya Nanda impressively imitating Shah Rukh Khan’s signature dance steps seen in films like DDLJ and Main Hoon Na, where he performed floor dance moves.
The Archies is all set to release on December 7.
