Spider-Man 3 Leak Might Have Confirmed The Return Of Legendary Foe Green Goblin – DellyRanks

Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is experiencing major leaks online. A fresh leak from Insomniac Games and PlayStation’s Marvel’s Spider-Man series may have given us a first look at the artwork for Green Goblin. The Green Goblin has not yet surfaced in Insomniac’s Marvel video game universe, despite Norman Osborn and his deranged alter ego being two of Spider-Man’s most powerful rivals. As of now, no official announcement has been made regarding such intentions for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.

Eight years into Peter Parker’s career as a crime fighter in Marvel’s Spider-Man, Norman continues to appear to be an ordinary person, but as the story unfolds, his corrupt character and sinister motives gradually come to light. But those who completed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 last year could see that Insomniac prepped Norman Osborn to take on the role of the Green Goblin in the third primary edition.

A trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Great Web surfaced online earlier this week. Fans were treated to a preview of Insomniac’s multiplayer-focused Spider-Man game, which was ultimately shelved internally at the company.

Although many fans are disappointed that it was discontinued, players get an early glimpse at the next villain in the PlayStation franchise’s single-player instalment.

One of these leaks was the concept art for The Great Web, which surprisingly included what appears to be Green Goblin. Norman Osborn is seen in the artwork gazing out over a burning skyline of New York City. Many people are flying around the city on gliders, and these are presumably characters of some kind that are supposed to be around Green Goblins. In the middle of the picture, we can see one of these Green Goblin creatures who is a green-skinned humanoid with a hooded purple cloak with no sleeves.

It’s unclear exactly what this concept art would have meant in terms of the plot for Spider-Man: The Great Web, but it’s possible that the Green Goblin from the concept art will make a cameo in Spider-Man 3.

Even though The Great Web was abandoned, it’s quite likely that Insomniac developers will attempt to use some of the material for the next official Spider-Man game the company produces.

That being said, there’s no certainty that the Green Goblin that has been revealed is the final form of the character who will undoubtedly appear in Spider-Man 3. This is because the image is simply conceptual.

According to the information revealed in the leak, Spider-Man 3 will be released in 2028, though not before Insomniac launches Marvel’s Wolverine and another, undisclosed game starring Venom. Of course, these ideas are susceptible to change, so fans should remain sceptical until more specific information becomes available.

Fans will need to patiently wait for Spider-Man 3 to find out how the Goblin wrecks Peter and Miles’ life as Norman strives to revenge his fallen son.
