During the event, Shiva Rajkumar had the opportunity to meet the Tamil star Kamal Haasan. The two actors had a brief conversation. Shiva Rajkumar shared a photo of their meeting on Instagram, with the caption: “Once upon a time there lived a ‘Ghost’. Happy to meet @ikamalhaasan sir during the promotions of #Ghost in Mumbai.”

In Shiva Rajkumar’s Ghost, actor Jayaram plays a significant role. He happens to be a close friend of Kamal Haasan. This could be the reason why Kamal Haasan attended the event.

Kamal Haasan has recently wrapped up shooting for Indian 2, directed by Shankar, and has embarked on his next project, Kalki AD 2898, under the direction of Nag Ashwin. Kalki features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in leading roles, with Kamal Haasan taking on the role of the antagonist.

Kalki AD 2898 is a science fiction movie set to release on January 12, 2024. Following this, Kamal Haasan has committed to two more projects, KH 233 with H Vinoth and KH 234 with Mani Ratnam.

Ghost is scheduled to hit theatres on October 19. After Ghost, Shiva Rajkumar is gearing up for his next Tamil venture, Captain Miller. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, this periodical action drama stars Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar and Priyanka Arul Mohan in leading roles, with Shiva Rajkumar taking on the role of the antagonist.

Shiva Rajkumar expressed his contentment with the reception of his portrayal as Narasimha in Jailer, during a media interaction yesterday. He described it as a “transformative and life-changing experience”.
