Now, it has been found that the sequel to the film is about to hit theatres. The sequel to the film is titled Jigarthanda Double X and will hit theatres on November 10. The film is highly anticipated among the audience, and it has been found that some actors from the Malayalam film industry are also playing important roles in the film.

Recently, the trailer video for the film was released. The trailer spans more than two minutes and shows glimpses of a story set in 1975. The clip shows Lawrence as a gangster who wants to break Tamil cinema’s stereotypical notions of skin colour. SJ Suryah stars as a filmmaker who was a former assistant of Satyajit Ray and strives to make a film with Lawrence’s character.
The film is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam under the banner of Stonebench Films and is co-produced by Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origin along with Kathiresan of Five Star Creations. The music in the project is given by Santhosh Narayanan, and the cinematography is done by Thirunavukkarasu. The editing of the project is by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
As per reports, Jigarthanda Double X will be released in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
