Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur tied the knot in 2022.

Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur are beaming with joy as they eagerly await the arrival of their bundle of joy. The soon-to-be parents recently hosted a baby shower surrounded by their close friends and family. On Tuesday, Sheetal Thakur treated her Insta family with inside glimpses of the memorable event. “Life is about to become even more adorable. Here are some moments from my baby shower. #hatchingsoon,” wrote the mom-to-be, along with a carousel of photos.
For the occasion, Sheetal Thakur chose a blend of comfort and style. She donned a chic olive dress, while Vikrant Massey opted for a white suit paired with a baby pink shirt. A series of snapshots from the event showcased the couple’s radiant smiles and affectionate poses. In one image, Vikrant and Sheetal shared a heartwarming moment, while another highlighted a cake with the message “hatching soon.” There was also a “wishing tree for baby browning”. The baby shower was filled with laughter, games, and cherished moments captured with friends and family.
It was in September this year, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur announced they were expecting their first child. Taking to their official Instagram accounts, the couple expressed their excitement for the new chapter in their lives. The announcement post conveyed, “New beginnings. We are expecting. Baby coming 2024.”
Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur sealed their love story with a beautiful union in February 2022, after several years of being together. In his wedding post, Vikrant expressed, “Saal saalo ka ye safar aaj saat janmo mein badal gaya. Is safar me humara saath dene ke liye bahut bahut shukriya. Sheetal evam Vikrant. 18.02.2022 (Our seven-years journey has turned into a bond for seven lives. Thank you very much for being with us. Sheetal and Vikrant).”
Work-wise, Vikrant Massey’s recent project includes the film 12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie narrates the real-life story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, who, despite facing failure in his Class 12 exams, goes on to achieve success as an IPS officer. Earlier, in a conversation with Hindustan Times, Vikrant reflected on the parallels between his character in 12th Fail and recalled just like his character he too had to restart and reshape his acting career a few times. He shared, “Zindagi me utaar chadhav hotein hai”. Alongside 12th Fail, Vikrant Massey has left a notable mark in the film industry with his roles in movies such as Dil Dhadakne Do, A Death In The Gunj, Lipstick Under My Burkha, Chhapaak, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare.
Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur also shared the screen space in Ektaa Kapoor-backed series Broken But Beautiful.
