Shahid Kapoor Is New Cop on the Block, Announces Deva With a HOT 1st Look; Locks Dussehra 2024 –

Shahid Kapoor has finally revealed that his new buzz cut look is for a cop film titled Deva. The actor took to Instagram to announce his new film on the occasion of Dusssehra. He also shared the first look which has left fans excited. Shahid appears to be playing the role of a police officer in the movie. In the photo, Shahid was seen flauting his short hairdo while holding a gun in his hand.

The actor sported a bracelet and wore a half-button shirt with a pair of khakee pants. Shahid completed his look with a pair of sunglasses that reminded us of Kabir Singh. Sharing the photo, Shahid revealed that he is locking Dussehra 2024 for Deva. “DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024,” he wrote. The film also stars Pooja Hegde. Fans went gaga seeing his look. Many took to the comments section and extended their support to the film. “Shahid Kapoor with buzz cut, chain bracelet on wrist, white shirt and gun in his hand … what a fabulous combo ,” a fan wrote. “Oh my goodness ,” added another. “Superb news Deva ❤️❤️ I am very excited for this one and also excited to see you as Cop,” a third fan wrote. “WHAT A LOOK!!!! Deva will be directed by Rosshan Andrrews. A previous PTI report revealed that the film about a ‘brilliant yet rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case.’ “As he delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, leading him down a thrilling and dangerous path,” the report added.

Speaking about the film, Pooja said, “It’s a very special film with such an exciting yet different storyline. Rosshan Andrrews is known for weaving magic on the big screen, and I can’t wait to start this journey and for the audience to see me in such a unique and different role.”

Deva marks Shahid and Pooja’s first film together.
