Shaheen Bhatt Calls Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Marriage ‘Overwhelming’, Says ‘I Have No Idea…’ –

Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt has said that she was ‘overwhelmed’ and ’emotional’ when she saw the Gangubai Kthiawadi actress dressed as a bride. Shaheen was speaking to Bollywood Bubble recently when she opened up about Alia’s special day. She recalled having tears in her eyes and shared that it was a ‘beautiful moment’.

“I don’t know because I couldn’t see. I just had tears in my eyes. I couldn’t see anything. So, for me, it was a really overwhelming and emotional moment. It was a beautiful moment but I actually have no idea how everyone else was dealing with it because I was so overwhelmed myself,” Sheheen told Bollywood Bubble.

Prior to her wedding, Alia used to live with Shaheen. Now that the actress lives with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Raha, Shaheen mentioned that she misses her sister but added that they still spend a lot of time together. “Of course, I miss it (living with Alia), but I spend a lot of time with her, as much time as I possibly can with my family. We make it a point to do that, so I definitely miss it but I think that we are making up for it,” Shaheen said.

Shaheen and Alia share a great bond and are often spotted together as well. Recently, when Alia won the Best Actress National Award, Shaheen took to her Instagram handle and penned down a heartwarming note appreciating her sister. “Bursting with more pride than I knew I could feel. This moment represents more than professional success – it’s a reflection of your values and every hard-won quality that makes you who you are @aliaabhatt,” she wrote.

Later, Alia also reacted to Shaheen’s post and commented, “What would I have done without you”.
