Farah Khan to work with Shah Rukh Khan for her next?
Farah Khan’s last directorial film was the 2014 film Happy New Year.
Apart from being a celebrated choreographer, Farah Khan is also one of the most loved directors of Indian Cinema. Time and again, she has given some of the most memorable films in Bollywood including Main Hoon Naa, Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. Buzz is that, the filmmaker is working on a bunch of exciting films – one with Shah Rukh Khan, the other one with Bhushan Kumar. She is also in talks with Rohit Shetty for another film.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Farah Khan is collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan for a script similar to Main Hoon Naa. A source close to the development shared, “Farah is working on an out and out multi-genre script on the lines of Main Hoon Na to be produced by Shah Rukh Khan. The narrations on the same will take place with the stakeholders at Red Chillies soon.”
Coming to Bhushan Kumar’s film, reportedly, Farah has locked a script for a 2.0 version of Chupke Chupke. “Farah is a big fan of Chupke Chupke and jumped onto the opportunity of bringing in a new flavour to the world of Hrishikesh Mukerjee. The script is locked; however, the makers are yet to cast secure actors to play the lead characters in this multi-starrer,” the source shared.
The film with Rohit Shetty is currently in it’s brainstorming stage. Appatently, Farah and Rohit are discussing multiple ideas to execute. “Farah will be making a film for Rohit Shetty; however, they are yet to zero down on the exact subject.”
