Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have worked together in several hit movies in Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol posed together in public after a long time as they met each other at the premiere of Suhana Khan’s film The Archies.
The Archies Premiere Event: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol fans were in for a big surprise on Tuesday night as the Bollywood’s hit pair reunited in public after a very long time. Kajol attended the premiere of SRK’s daughter, Suhana Khan’s debut film, The Archies. Several Bollywood celebrities including SRK, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ananya Panday, Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan walked the red carpet at the film’s premiere.
However, what grabbed our attention was the reunion of Kajol and SRK at the event. The photo was shared by Netflix on its official Instagram account. In the picture, Kajol is laughing out loud as SRK holds her hand. The actress dazzled in a gorgeous saree, while SRK opted for The Archies t-shirt which he wore underneath a black blazer.
In October this year, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Karan Johar came together as their popular movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 25 years, but Kajol was missing from the reunion. SRK, Karan and Rani met fans gathered for the special screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai that was organised to celebrate the film’s 25 years in Mumbai.
Kajol couldn’t attend the reunion due to her shoot schedule. The actress was shooting for an upcoming project outside Mumbai. The news was confirmed by Shah Rukh during his interaction with fans at the theatre. “Kajol is unfortunately not here because she had to rush to a shooting outdoors. So she said, ‘Please give lots of love to all of you,’” he said. She was part of the grand 20 years celebrations which took place in 2018.
In Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kajol played the lead role of Anjali, a tomboy who falls in love with her best friend Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) but he likes Tina (Rani Mukerji).
