Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared her first look from the film Shaakuntalam. The actress plays the role of Shakuntala, based on the popular play Shakuntala by Kalidasa and Vishvamitra. The first look, a poster from the film, features Samantha dressed in a white ensemble and sitting in a forest. She is surrounded by deers and other forest animals.
The actress shared the poster with the caption, “Presenting… Nature’s beloved.. the Ethereal and Demure.. “Shakuntala” from #Shaakuntalam.”
The film is directed by Gunasekhar and also stars Dev Mohan, who plays the role of Dushyanta. Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha will be seen playing the role of Prince Bharata.
