Actress Ameesha Patel recently made a comeback to Bollywood after a very long time with Gadar 2. She reprised her role of Sakina from the original film and was paired opposite Sunny Deol once again. But despite being absent from the silver screen, Ameesha Patel’s social media presence has garnered her a lot of fans over the years, who’ll eagerly wait to catch a glimpse of videos and pictures on her feed. Maintaining that trajectory, the actress shared a montage reel of sizzling pictures of herself recently.
On Thursday, Ameesha Patel took to her Instagram handle and shared a small clip consisting of a slew of hot pictures of the actress. In the clip, Ameesha can be seen sporting a black top with a plunging neckline, which she paired with a red studded leather jacket, dark denim jeans, sunglasses and blingy chains. The actress struck various poses in the dutch angle. She wrote in the caption,”DELHI❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Ameesha Patel’s career trajectory of the actress has been mostly pointing to the downward side with just 4 hits in her 23-year-long career. It is astonishing to know that Ameesha Patel’s career reached great heights working opposite Sunny Deol in Gadar but the movie that wrecked her career was one she was paired with his very brother Bobby Deol.
Both Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel were launched with the 2000 release Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, a massive hit that propelled both of them to stardom instantly. It was this stardom and popularity that Ameesha landed the role of Sakina in Gadar, which again went on to phenomenal business. But then, she appeared in two back-to-back films opposite Bobby Deol in Kranti and Humraaz.
Kranti was released in the same year as Gadar and went unnoticed while Humraaz paired her opposite both Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna. Though the movie did receive some positive reviews, it was not successful at the box office and Ameesha’s luck and star power seemed to be waning. All subsequent films of hers flopped after that. Even Salman Khan’s Yeh Hai Jalwa and Aamir Khan’s Mangal Pandey: The Rising could not save her career.
She found success with films like Bhool Bhulaiyya and Race 2 but these were multi-starrers with other stars walking away with most of the accolades. She tried her luck in Telugu films, debuting in the industry with Parama Veera Chakra, working alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna, but even this endeavour failed as the film flopped badly.
Ameesha has since been seen as a guest contestant on Bigg Boss 13 and this year also played a cameo role in the film Mystery of the Tattoo which went by mostly unnoticed before reprising her role of Sakina in Gadar 2.
