Seo In-guk, Park So-dam On Shooting K-Drama Death’s Game –

Seo In-guk and Park So-dam’s upcoming drama series Death’s Game has left K-drama lovers thrilled. Based on a webtoon of the same name written by Lee Won-sik and Ggulchan, it revolves around a man who gets a second lease on life after facing a near-death experience. Apart from the lead cast, the eight-episode series also boasts a cast ensemble of Sung Hoon, Lee Jae-wook, Kim Jae-Wook, and Go Yoon-Jung in important roles. In a recent interview and photoshoot with Elle Korea magazine, Seo In-guk and Park So-dam shared some special moments while shooting for the series. Park So-dam also shed light on the “most difficult” aspect of filming Death’s Game.

During the interaction, Park So-dam revealed that Death’s Game fell in the type of genre that she always wanted to be a part of. Sharing the difficulties she faced during the shoot she recalled, “There were elements of the drama that couldn’t be expressed through reading the script, so we were constantly imagining what the finished result would look like after post-production as we filmed. I think that was what I found both the most difficult and the most appealing about filming this drama.”

Admitting the fact that he loves “time-loop stories”, Seo In-guk said that not only was he excited about Death’s Game from its inception but the actor was also happy to get the opportunity to star in the series. Both the co-stars praised the other for their dedication and hard work in bringing out the best performance on-screen. “Regardless of her resemblance to the character in the original webtoon, So Dam’s aura was so transcendent that I felt Death in the webtoon and Death in the drama existed separately,” said Seo In-guk.

Dropping plaudits on her co-star, Park So-dam spilled the beans on how she was so amazed by Seo In-guk that she could not stop herself from “staring at him”. She added that in her imagination, Seo In-guk was the perfect match for the character he was playing. Seo In-guk’s acting even made Park So-dam wonder how he got the time “to prepare so well?” when she was not so fully prepared to execute her role.

Directed by Ha Byung-hoon, Death’s Game will premiere on December 15.
