Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been dating for a while now. After secretly seeing each other, the two went public with their relationship in December 2023 and have since been serving major couple goals. From showing support for each other on social media to being a part of important events, Selena and Benny haven’t shied away from showing their love. In a recent revelation, the Rare Beauty founder confessed that she was the one to say ‘I love you’ first in their relationship.
In a TikTok game, the couple responded to a series of questions about their relationship by pointing at the partner it applied to. Following a series of random questions, it asked, “Who said I love you first?” Gomez instantly pointed at herself and said, “Me.”

Benny, who was right next to her, sweetly approached her to hug and kiss her on the shoulder. Besides, the 31-year-old singer-actor also revealed that she is the first to fall asleep during a movie while Benny cleans the house. Meanwhile, to questions like who apologises after an argument, who spends more money, or who snores the loudest, neither of them had a strong opinion.

In October 2023, the music producer attended Rare Beauty’s Rare Impact Fund Benefit, showing his support for Selena. In the coming weeks, their social media interactions and reactions fuelled the rumours further.
An Entertainment Tonight report suggested that the two were dating casually and that things were going well. “Things have been going really well between them, and Selena is happy. She thinks Benny is very funny and, of course, extremely talented. Selena is in a great place in her life and feels content and relaxed. She is enjoying where things are going,” the outlet quoted a source as saying.
In January 2024, the couple was spotted on their first public date at the Los Angeles Lakers game.
