Seema Khan talks about Salman Khan and his family’s unwavering support for Malaika Arora after her father’s tragic passing in September.
Seema Khan, who was previously married to Salman Khan’s younger brother and actor-producer Sohail Khan, has opened up about the Bollywood superstar and the Khan family coming together for Malaika Arora after the tragic passing of her father Anil Mehta on September 11. Salman was seen visiting Malaika Arora’s parents’ house to offer his condolences last month. This marked the first time Salman reunited with Malaika since her 2017 divorce from his other brother, Arbaaz Khan. Although Malaika has frequently been spotted with the Khan family on various occasions, Salman had never previously joined them in such gatherings. Salman and Malaika notably collaborated on the popular Dabangg song, ‘Munni Badnaam’.
Salman’s gesture was widely appreciated on social media, with fans praising the Khan family’s solidarity. Speaking to us in an exclusive interview, Seema spoke about how she was equally moved by their gesture.
“They are rocks. When it comes to a crisis or if you need anything, they are all there. That’s what makes them this family they are,” Seema told us.
On the professional front, Seema is currently enjoying the success of the latest season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. Season 3 of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, which dropped on Netflix on October 18, continues to follow the lives of Bollywood’s most glamorous wives. The season brings back the original star cast of Bhavana, Maheep, Seema, and Neelam, while introducing new faces like Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kalyani Chawla and Shalini Passi. Speaking about the overwhelming response to the show, Seema shared, “You feel really blessed and grateful. Reality is not easy to do because you put your lives out there, but at the end of the day, with this kind of love, it’s totally worth it. It’s another feeling altogether. There’s so much love coming our way for just being ourselves. It’s truly humbling.”
