Sanjana Sanghi opens up on working in Kadak Singh.
Appreciation has started pouring in for Sanjana Sanghi’s next film, Kadak Singh. The Dil Bechara actress plays the character of Sakshi, the daughter of Pankaj Tripathi in the film. While audiences have loved the storyline, they were touched by Sanjana Sanghi’s performance.
Talking about how she came on board for Kadak Singh, “Sanjana Sanghi expressed, “It was an instant draw, and I say that not lightly because, as actors, we are thrown a lot of materials on a regular basis. It’s a well-known fact that all of us are ultimately looking for that script that makes us jump out of our seats and say, ‘I cannot wait to get right into this world.’
She further added, “I remember it was a Zoom call because I was shooting elsewhere. As Ritesh began narrating ‘Kadak Singh’ and Sakshi to me, I felt a desperate need to be and become Sakshi. It almost felt like she pulled me towards her. There was a certain pain she was grappling with in her life and a certain vulnerability and strength that she had.”
She added, “Those three coming together felt so beautiful and potent that, as an actor, it’s what I crave to do. I would have regretted it for the rest of my life if, for whatever reasons, this wouldn’t have happened because I have come out as a more evolved and empathetic human being as well as an actor.”
Sanjana Sanghi ends 2023 on a high note with films like Dhak Dhak and Kadak Singh for her fans. It will be interesting to see what the actress has planned for the audiences in 2024.
