Sanjana Sanghi opens up on working with National Award winning actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Jaya Ahsan.
Pankaj Tripathi-starrer Kadak Singh’s trailer was released recently. It has left fans in awe of the mystery which is shown in the trailer. The film also stars Sanjana Sanghi and she took to her social media handle to introduce her character, Sakshi. She also dropped a poster featuring herself in the role. The trailer of the film was recently launched at IFFI, Goa and Sanjana received rave reviews for her part.
On being asked about working with National Award winning actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Jaya Ahsan, she said, “I have been reminded so often about the national award-winning caliber of my team, and right now, I’m the odd one out with the endeavour remaining for one day. Inshallah, God willing, I’ll change that. However, it would be a loaded question for me to describe what I’ve learned from Pankaj Sir, Parvathi, and Jaya because, honestly, they’re all so different as actors.”
Speaking about her relationship and equation with each of them, she said, “Pankaj Sir, I truly feel like there is a father-daughter dynamic in our relationship. There is nothing that he can’t say to me that I won’t take well because I know his intentions are pure. He’s always looking out for me and has taken care of me throughout this journey, like my father would. From him, I’ve gained not just a PhD and master’s degree in acting but also in life. It was a validation as a young actor that I was considered able to match up with him, ball to ball, and that I have the level of skill and technique to be able to do that, which really felt like a huge responsibility,” she said.
Speaking of actress Jaya Ahsan, she said, “She brings so much credibility and beauty to the craft of acting. Getting to bring out Sakshi and Naina’s dynamic in Kadak Singh with her has been a joyous process,” she added.
