Rukmini Vasanth-Chaitra Achar

These two talented actresses made their presence known in director Hemanth Rao’s romance drama Sapta Sagaradaache Ello. While Rukmini played the role of a middle-class girl Priya, Chaitra essayed the character of Surabhi that helped establish the film’s narrative. While Rakshit Shetty impressed the masses with his stellar acting, Rukmini and Chaitra wowed the audience with their roles.

Milana Nagaraj

Another Kannada actress to make it to the list is Milana Nagaraj. Her on-screen charisma and stellar performance worked wonders in the Shashank directorial Kousalya Supraja Rama. The film revolves around a chauvinist man named Ram, who is inspired by his father’s views on masculinity. But he turns a new leaf when a woman named Shivani (Milana Nagaraj) enters his life.

Siri Ravikumar

Siri Ravikumar made her way into the hearts of movie enthusiasts with the romance drama Swathi Mutthina Male Haniyeh. Helmed by Raj B Shetty, the actress essayed the role of Prerana — a hospice counsellor in the film who develops a bond with a terminally ill patient. Siri Ravikumar shouldered the responsibility brilliantly in the feel-good movie.

Sindhu Sreenivasa Murthy

With an IMDB rating of 7.9 out of 10, Aachar & Co is a comedy-drama headlined and directed by Sindhu Sreenivasa Murthy. The film is set against the backdrop of the 1960s and centres around the life of Suma Aachar (Sindhu Sreenivasa Murthy) who gets ensnared in a tough spot after her father passes away. While taking responsibility for her conservative household is her priority, Suma is determined to give wings to her dreams and discover herself. Sindhu’s impressive acting chops hit the right chords with the audience.
