To paraphrase Avengers: Endgame, the stars of Singham Again — Assemble! On Thursday, director Rohit Shetty brought together the stars of Singham Again for a team lunch. Actors Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff came together to have lunch at Gauri Khan’s restaurant in Mumbai. In videos and photos surfaced online, the cast was seen dressed in their best outfits as they reunited for lunch.
In one of the videos, Akshay was seen helping the cast rearrange themselves in a way that everyone could be visible in photos. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Check out the videos below:
Singham Again is set to release on November 1, on the occasion of Diwali. The film clashes with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee.
While most stars from the older Singham and cop films will be seen in the movie, Kajal Agarwal — who was seen in the first Singham film — will not be a part of the film. Speaking about her absence in the franchise, she told Showsha, “It’s difficult to answer if I wished I was a part of Singham Aagin (laughs). But I’ll tell you one thing. As an actor, we’re all very greedy. We always wish that we’re a part of every film that gets made.” But she quickly added that she loved the trailer of Singham Again. “It was a smashing one! I’m looking forward for the film to release and I’m waiting to watch it,” she shared.
Despite her absence from the subsequent films in the cop universe franchise, Kajal stated that she has watched all of them. “Of course, I watched all of them and I loved them. I loved how Rohit has connected and tied everything and made an entire universe. I’m an ardent admirer of Rohit Shetty cinema,” she said.
