Rekha Steals the Show at Hema Malini’s Birthday Bash; Jaya Bachchan Schools Paps, ‘Itna Direction…’ –

Bollywood’s OG Dream Girl Hema Malini celebrated her 75th birthday on Monday, October 16 and needless to say, it was a star-studded affair. Several celebrities including Rani Mukerji, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty and Jackie Shroff among others attended the birthday bash but it was Rekha who stole the show.

For the occasion, Rekh ported a heavily embroidered cream-coloured saree and accessorised it with big jhumkas. With her statement bangles and gajra, Rekha proved why she is called the timeless beauty. In a video that surfaced on social media, Rekha is seen entering the venue along with Vidya Balan. Besides Rekha, Jaya Bachchan also attended Hema Malini’s birthday bash. However, she was seen scolding the paparazzi once again. In a now-viral video, Jaya Bachchan is seen asking paps to remain quiet. “Abhi itna aap direction matt dijiye (Don’t give me so many directions),” she tells them when asked about posing while looking into the lenses. Meanwhile, during Hema Malini’s birthday bash, Rekha was also seen posing with Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji and Jaggu Dada. Madhuri looked prettiest as ever in the dual-toned shimmery purple saree. On the other hand, Rani sported a blue-coloured shaded saree which reminded everyone of her look in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. In another video which surfaced on social media, the 90s divas were also joined by Esha Deol. Madhuri was also seen posing with her husband Dr Nene. Shilpa Shetty also arrived at the venue with her sister Shamita and mother Sunanda. Raveena Tandon, Rajkimmar Rao, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik also attended Hema Malini’s birthday bash.
