On July 15, Realme announced that the Realme Watch 2 Pro will be launched in India next week. Now, more details are here. Last year, Realme made its foray into the smartwatch segment with the Realme Watch 2, and Realme Watch 2 Pro.
The Chinese tech company launched Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro towards the end of 2020. Earlier this year, it teased an imminent launch of the second generation of the Realme Watch. Now, Realme has confirmed that the Watch 2 Pro is set to hit the store shelves in India later this month.
REALME WATCH 2 PRO LAUNCH & PRICE IN INDIA
Moderators in the Realme Community forum revealed in a blog post said that the Realme Watch 2 Pro will arrive in the Indian market soon. The announcement is accompanied by a poster featuring Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor sporting Realme’s new wearable.
The company had launched the Watch 2 Pro and Buds Wireless 2 in Malaysia earlier this year, along with Realme Pocket Bluetooth speakers, and the Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo.
It is still unclear why the company decided to skip Realme Watch 2 and launch the Realme Watch 2 Pro, instead. The wearable retails for RM299 (about $71) in Malaysia, and it comes in black and light gray color options. The device is likely to set you back INR 5,000 (about $37) in India, where it is set to launch on July 23 at 12:30 PM IST.
The premium Realme Buds Wireless 2 with Sony LDAC Hi-Res Audio support is also likely to be announced at the launch event. Moreover, the watch could go up for sale during the Amazon Prime Day sale, which kicks off on July 26.
