Realme has increased the prices of some of its smartphones in India.

The Realme 8 and 8 5G now cost Rs 1,500 more than what they did upon launch, while the budget C series phones are pricier by up to Rs 500.

Realme has silently issued a price hike for a number of its smartphones, including the popular Realme 8 and 8 5G. The price hike amounts up to Rs 1,500 for the aforementioned phones, while a number of its budget devices too, such as the Realme C11 (2021), C21 and C25s have also received a price hike.

With this move, Realme also joins in on a market trend that saw Xiaomi increase prices for a number of its phones, including the Redmi Note 10 and the Poco M3.


Realme 8, 8 5G: new prices

The Realme 8 was previously available at Rs 14,499 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, Rs 15,499 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and Rs 16,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. After the price hike of Rs 1,500, the smartphone will now be sold at Rs 15,999, 16,999 and Rs 17,999 for the three respective variants.

The Realme 8 5G, meanwhile, was previously sold at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, Rs 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and Rs 16,999 for the top-tier, 8GB + 128GB variant. This one, too, gets a Rs 1,500 price hike to now cost Rs 15,499, Rs 16,499 and Rs 18,499 respectively.

Realme C11 (2021), C21, C25s: new prices

Coming to the budget ‘C’ portfolio of phones by Realme, the lowest price increase has been doled out to the Realme C11 (2021). The latter was previously sold at Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,499 for its 2GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants, and after a hike of Rs 300, will cost Rs 7,299 and Rs 8,799 now.

The Realme C21 was sold at Rs 8,499 and Rs 9,499 for 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants previously, and after a Rs 500 price hike, will cost Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999 for the same.

The Realme C25s, finally, was priced at Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,499 for its 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB variants, respectively. With a hike of Rs 500, they will now cost Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999 across all its offline and online stores.
