Rashmika Mandanna is now all set to begin shooting for her most-awaited movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule. It has now been revealed that the actress will begin the Pushpa 2 shoot schedule on December 13 in Hyderabad. “Rashmika Mandanna is extremely happy with the love and praise she is receiving for the film Animal. Immediately after the massive success of Animal, Rashmika will begin the shoot for the highly ambitious and blockbuster franchise Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 13th in Hyderabad. The actress will be reprising her iconic role of Srivali in the film starring Allu Arjun,” an independent industry source said.

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise was released in 2021 and turned out to be a blockbuster movie. The action drama dealt with red sandalwood smuggling. Allu Arjun recently won the Best Actor National Award for her performance in the movie.

It was earlier said that Pushpa 2: The Rule is likely to hit theatres in December 2023. However, it was recently announced that Pushpa 2 will be released on August 15, 2024.
