Animal marks Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s first film together. It is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna will soon be sharing the screen for the first time in their upcoming movie Animal. It was recently announced that the second song of the film ‘Satranga’ will be released soon. While everyone is eagerly waiting for it, the makers have now shared a new poster of the song.
In the poster, Rashmika Mandanna can be seen observing Karwa Chauth for Ranbir Kapoor. It is no secret that the two will be playing each other’s love interest in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. Check out the poster here:
Satranga is sung by Arijit Singh and will be released on October 27. Previously, Animal song Hua Main was also released which is sung by Raghav Chaitanya and Pritam while the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, Animal also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles. According to the film’s teaser, Ranbir’s character’s attachment leads him on the path of becoming a gangster, eventually coming to face with his nemesis, played by Bobby Deol. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir’s father in the film.
Meanwhile, in his recent Instagram LIVE session, Ranbir Kapoor talked about Animal and revealed that he had to undergo a massive transformation for the film. “For Animal, I had shaved my hair! For the last scene, I had done that. So now I am growing my hair. Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, and not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates,” the actor said.
Animal is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1 this year. This means that the film will clash at the box office with Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur.
