Rashmika Mandanna talks about being judged
Rashmika is gearing up for her next release Pushpa 2. Recently, the first look of her character has been unveiled.
Though it has been months since Animal was released, Rashmika Mandanna, who was seen in the lead role, is still getting praise for her performance. Well, recently talking to Lifestyle Asia, the actress opened up about being judged. Rashmika Mandanna called it normal and also said that one has to be thick-skinned when it comes to being judged.
Talking to the publication, Rashmika said, “If you speak, the world listens and passes judgments and criticisms and has many opinions – which is perfectly normal – but if you’re not thick-skinned, it can affect you mentally and emotionally, in ways that people are not very aware of.” She also mentioned that she doesn’t believe in taking either joy or success lightly, because she knows there are people more talented or prettier than her out there and she wants to make the most of what she has been given.

In the poster, Rashmika Mandanna is seen sporting a saree as she accessorised it with heavy jewellery. She also applied sindoor on her forehead as she kept a stern expression on her face.
Previously, Rashmika Mandanna teased Pushpa 2 when she promised that the film would be “bigger” than ever. “I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film, in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that. I just shot for a song for Pushpa 2 and I was just like, ‘How are you guys thinking about this?’ Everyone is so driven to make a good film. All of us have gone all out and are enjoying the process. It’s a story that has no end, you can lead it any which way. It is fun,” she told Pinkvilla.
Released in 2021, Pushpa: The Rise was written and directed by Sukumar. The film turned out to be a blockbuster and ruled the box office. The last leg of shooting for Pushpa 2 is currently underway in Vizag. Pushpa 2: The Rule might also feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a cameo. Sanjay Dutt is also likely to make a special appearance in the movie. The film will hit theatres on August 15, 2024.
