The fervour and excitement surrounding the occasion are palpable, even among the renowned personalities, as they flock to the Puja pandals to immerse themselves in the festivities. Among them is the Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji, who is a Bengali, who partakes in the joyous festivities every year. The pictures and videos of the actress celebrating Durga Puja in Mumbai at her family’s Puja pandal with her industry friends and family members have emerged online.
In a new video shared by Filmygyan on its Instagram handle, Rani Mukerji and Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly can be seen all smiles, hugging each other warmly. The duo also had a small conversation together. Talking about their outfits, Rani and Rupali, both slayed in ethnic attire. The veteran actress opted for a beige sari featuring a powder blue border and a matching blouse. She accessorized her look with stacked neckpieces featuring precious stones. On the other hand, the television star donned a pink saree paired with a matching embroidered blouse. For their hairstyle, both of them tied their tresses in a sleek bun with dainty jasmine flowers. Additionally, Rupali Ganguly’s son Rudransh was also captured in the video.

Earlier, in another video shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on his Instagram handle, Rani Mukerji was spotted at the Puja pandal with her cousin, actress Kajol, on Maha Navami. In the clip, Kajol and Rani hugged each other warmly and engaged in cheek kisses. The sisters offered prayers to Ma Durga and posed for the paps. For the fourth day of Durga Puja festivities, Kajol wore a beige silk sari and paired it with a heavily embroidered blouse.
Furthermore, Rani Mukerji was also captured with Jaya Bachchan in a video. The two actresses were seen sitting next to each other at the Durga Puja celebration.
Every year, Rani and Kajol take part in Durga Puja festivities at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja, one of the largest pujas in the western suburbs. The puja, initiated by Ayan Mukerji’s father and Kajol’s uncle Deb Mukherjee, marked its diamond Jubilee last year. This year, too, the Mukerji family has been participating in the Durga Puja festivities.
