Range Rover price, SV, Ranthambore Edition, -DellyRanks

The Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition has launched in India at Rs 4.98 crore (ex-swhoroom, India). Based on the long-wheelbase Range Rover on sale in India and customised by the brand’s bespoke SV division, the Ranthambore Edition is said to be the first ever limited edition exquisitely crafted for India.

  1. Ranthambore Edition gets unique exterior and interior elements
  2. Powered by 400hp, 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine
  3. Portion of the proceeds to be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India

The Ranthambore Edition will have a limited run of 12 units and each will have bespoke door sill plates denoting which example it is (for eg. 1 of 12). The SV division has used a bespoke black finish on the exterior that has a reddish finish, and contrasting Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents, which are said to be inspired by a tiger’s stripes, on the grille, tail gate, and even on the 23-inch dark alloy wheels.

On the inside, the four-seat cabin features Caraway and Perlino semi-aniline leather with contrast stitching. The seats gets embroidery that is inspired, again, by the stripes on the spine of the tiger. Customised scatter cushions, chrome highlights, light wenge (a dark coloured wood) veneers and white ceramic dials have been used to further differentiate the Ranthambore Edition from the standard Range Rover SV.

As it is based on the SV, rear seat passengers get fully reclinable seats, a powered table, deployable cupholders and a refrigerated compartment with SV etched glassware.

This limited-run model is powered by the 400hp, 550Nm, 3.0-litre six-cylinder tubo-petrol engine seen in the Autobiography variant, which is priced at Rs 2.6 crore (ex-showroom, India).

The brand says that it will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Ranthambore Edition to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.
