Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi have finally started shooting for their much-awaited movie, Ramayana. On Saturday, pictures of the two actors from the sets of Nitesh Tiwari’s film were leaked online. In the photos exclusively accessed by Zoom, Ranbir and Sai were seen in their Ram and Sita avatars, respectively.
In the photos that were leaked, Ranbir, as Lord Rama, was dressed in a maroon dhoti and draped a matching dupatta over one shoulder. He also wore a long golden necklace. With his long hair and a subtle smile, he exuded charm. Meanwhile, Sai was seen in a purple saree, complemented by elaborate traditional jewellery. The photo revealed that Ranbir and Sai are presently filming pre-vanvasa sequences.
Before, it was reported that Ranbir followed a tough routine to get ready for the role of Ram. He ate fewer carbs and did more cardio workouts, like running and bodyweight exercises. A source from India Today mentioned that Ranbir wanted to get slimmer instead of staying muscular, especially in his face and torso, where he had bulked up for his role in Animal.
Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Animal. The film turned out to be a huge hit at the box office. However, the film received polarising reviews. While many have called the film out for ‘glorifying toxic masculinity’ yet again after Kabir Singh, a huge section of the audience has also praised Ranbir Kapoor for his performance. The film did exceedingly well at the box office. Apart from Ranbir, the film starred Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles.
