Ranbir Kapoor reminded everyone that he is a big Pushpa fan after he appeared on Indian Idol. In a video going viral, Ranbir was seen setting the stage on fire with his dance on Saami Saami from the Allu Arjun starrer. The song featured Rashmika Mandanna as well, who was also present on the stage with Ranbir. Although the two actors had the spotlight, it was Ranbir and Kumar Sanu who stole the show.
In the video, Ranbir was seen helping Kumar Sanu ace the step while Rashmika taught Shreya Ghoshal and others. Although the popular 90s singer struggled at first to match the steps with the song, Ranbir helped him to quickly learn the choreography. Watch the video below:
Besides the dance video, Ranbir was also seen getting overwhelmed after Mahesh Bhatt praised him for being a great father. Alia, who I believe is a miracle, says Ranbir is one of the best actors in our country. But I believe Ranbir is the world’s best father. When he sees Raha (Ranbir and Alia’s daughter), I wish you could see his eyes at that time. His mother, Neetu Kapoor, says, ‘Aisa pyaar toh maa karti hai apni bachiyo se jo Ranbir karta hai Raha se.’ I’m proud I have a son-in-law like Ranbir,” Mahesh Bhatt said.
Ranbir was visibly moved by his words and said, “He has never said such things to me in person. So thank you Indian Idol for this. I have been passed by my son-in-law.”
About Animal:
Animal is set to release on December 1 and this will be the first time that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in such an avatar. The Bollywood actor plays the role of a gangster who is out to seek revenge after his father, played by Anil Kapoor, is attacked. Apart from Ranbir, the film also stars Rashmika Madanna and Bobby Deol. Animal marks the first collaboration between Sandeep and Ranbir. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1.
