Even Rajinikanth was not spared by the Chennai floods. Earlier this week, Chennai faced a spell of torrential rains that left the city flooded. It has now been revealed that Rajinikanth’s house was also impacted in the floods.

A video going viral has revealed that there was a massive waterlogging outside Rajinikanth’s house in Chennai’s Poes Garden area. Due to the water logging, transport in the area became a task. It is unclear if the water logging has been cleared at the time of publishing this report. Watch the video below:

Aamir Khan was also stuck in the floods in Chennai. In photos that went viral earlier this week, the Bollywood actor was rescued from a flooded location in Chennai after the city was hit by floods. The Bollywood actor was seen seated in a rescue boat with Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal and others affected by the flood. It is reported that Aamir also got help from Tamil actor Ajith Kumar. It is said that Aamir was in Chennai for his mother’s medical treatment.

Tamil actors Suriya and Karthi have announced an initial donation of Rs 10 lakhs that will go to helping in any kind of relief aid required. The distribution is said to be done through their fan clubs.

For the unversed, torrential rain triggered by the cyclone has wreaked havoc upon Tamil Nadu, with Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, and Thiruvallur districts bearing the brunt of the downpour. Most parts of Chennai are currently submerged in water, with heavy inundation in low-lying areas, even as civic agency personnel were involved in clearing the stagnant water. In some areas, cars were seen floating on waterlogged roads.
