In conversation with , fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva spoke about designing politician Raghav Chadha’s wedding looks.

Raghav Chadha complemented his gorgeous bride Parineeti Chopra by adorning a tailor-made ivory sherwani designed by renowned menswear designer Pawan Sachdeva. Pawan who also happens to be Raghav’s uncle, had created an array of stylish ensembles for Raghav, that celebrated his simple style.

According to Pawan, he designed around 15-20 outfits for Raghav and the groom’s wedding ensemble took him 15-20 days to create. “Raghav wanted to wear an ivory sherwani for his wedding. Ivory is one colour which is perfect and complements all the colours the bride chooses to wear. The ivory in the sherwani and dull gold colour in Parineeti’ lehenga complemented both their outfits,” says fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva.

Raghav’s sherwani featured intricate quilting technique which added a subtle texture to the ensemble. He paired the royal look with a kurta, churidar, textured stole with a dull gold border, tan mojiris and a turban in dull gold to match Parineeti’s gold lehenga. “Raghav doesn’t like any embroidery, embellishments or bling. So, we opted for quilting, which was intricate and made the sherwani look rich. We added gold buttons. We also added a dull gold turban t o match her lehenga and completed the look with a textured stole with a dull gold border.”
