This comes days after a woman also died during a tragic incident that took place during the Pushpa 2 screening at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.
Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 was released in theatres on December 5.
In a shocking incident, another Allu Arjun fan died during the screening of the movie Pushpa 2: The Rule in Rayadurgam on Monday, December 9. Kalyandurgam Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ravi Babu told news agency PTI that the man was 35 years old and was named Harijana Madhannapp. He had attended the film’s matinee show at around 2:30 pm in Rayadurgam and was found dead around 6 pm by the theatre’s cleaning staff.
“It is not clear when he died, but the cleaning staff found him dead at around 6 pm after the matinee show,” Ravi said. Reportedly, the man was in an intoxicated state. “He was a father of four children and had a history of alcohol addiction. He was already drunk and consumed more alcohol inside the theatre,” the DSP added. A case has been filed under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act and further investigation is underway.
