KGF 3’s script is locked.
Prashanth Neel said that the script for KGF 3 is locked and was ready even before the film was announced.
After the smashing success of KGF and KGF 2, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the third film of the franchise. The second film ended with a hope for a third instalment, however, not much was known about the film. Now, director Prashanth Neel has revealed that the script is ready and Yash will return to headline the film.
Prashanth spoke to Pinkvilla and said, “KGF 3 will happen. I don’t know if I am the director or not but Yash will always be a part of it… On a serious note, KGF 3 will happen and we didn’t announce it for the sake of it. We already have a script. We had decided on the script before making the announcement. Yash is a very responsible individual and won’t put out things for just commercial reasons. We were sure to have things on paper before making an official announcement at the end of KGF 2.”
The director is currently gearing up for his first collaboration with Jr NTR. Speaking about the highly anticipated film, director Prashanth Neel said, “It’s going to be a different film with different emotions. I don’t want to get into the genre but I know, people will assume it to be an action film. I want to call it a very new story for me, which I want to tell my audience. It has got its own emotion and I hope people relate to it.”
“That’s my next after Salaar and we start shooting in the second half of 2024,” he said. The director also spoke about which actor he wants to work and with whom he hasn’t collaborated with yet. “I have grown up seeing Amitabh Bachchan movies and I want to direct him. But… He has to agree to act in my film,” filmmaker Prashanth Neel said.
