Prithviraj Sukumaran has impressed the audience with his acting skills, primarily in Malayalam cinema. He is now eagerly looking forward to his other project titled L2: Empuraan directed by him only. Recently, Prithviraj came up with an announcement on Nov 10 that increased the fervour around this movie. He shared a poster showing pictures of a machine gun and helicopter. For those who don’t know, L2: Empuraan is the sequel to the film Lucifer, again directed by Prithviraj. Lucifer became the first Malayalam film to enter the Rs 200 crore club. It is because Prithviraj met with an accident on the set of his film, Vilayath Budha. The doctor had advised him for bed rest.

Prithviraj last played the role of Hari in Mohanlal-starrer Alone which tanked at the box office. Shaji Kailas has directed this film. Rajesh Jayaraman was associated with Alone as a writer. Despite the failure of this film, some, however, appreciated the makers for trying out a novel concept. The highlight of this film was that only Mohanlal was present on the screen.
