Chinese smartphone maker Poco will unveil its F5 series in India today. Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro are expected to be mid-range smartphones. It is expected that duo may offer top-end features at an affordable price point.

The launch of Poco F5 and F5 pro smartphones will be live-streamed on the company’s Youtube channel. The live stream can also be viewed via Poco’s other social media channels.

Poco F5 Pro is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 5,160mAh battery with 67W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. In terms of display, the smartphone is expected to arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. The device may be equipped with a 64MP primary camera with OIS+EIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. It may include a fingerprint scanner beneath the screen and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
Poco F5 could come with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that also has a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset could boast a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The device may sport a 16MP front-facing camera and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
Both Poco F5 Pro and F5 smartphones could operate on Android 13 based on MIUI 14 and may support features such as NFC, IR blaster, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Pricing Details:
As per tipster Yogesh Brar, the Poco F5 could be priced somewhere between ₹28,000 to ₹29,000 which would place it close to the price of its predecessor Poco F4. Furthermore, the F5 pro is expected to cross the ₹30,000 mark. However, the company might offer some early bird discounts on both smartphones at the time of launch.
