Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the biggest fashion extravaganza witnessed the arrival of prominent personalities from the world of glitz and glam. Celebrities displayed their sartorial finesse, keeping in mind the theme — The Garden Of Time. Needless to mention, florals dominated the glittery night. Following the dress code, Kylie Jenner picked out a white satin gown dishing out major “princess” vibes. The beauty mogul recently treated us to some pictures from the gala ceremony on Instagram.
“Felt like a princess,” captioned Kylie Jenner, adding a bunch of emojis to the post. Crafted with perfection by the Oscar de la Renta label, the floor-sweeping evening gown was inspired by garden statutes mentioned in English novelist JG Ballard’s short story The Garden Of Time. It featured a strapless neckline with a cone-styled bustier cascading down into a cinched waist and forming a flared trumpet skirt. A pink rose hair accessory was tucked into Kylie’s secured updo and rosy makeup made the diva look every bit the belle of the ball. She struck a bunch of poses for the camera, looking drop-dead gorgeous in the OOTD.
In the post, Kylie Jenner offered a glimpse of her walking the red carpet with a helping hand from her assistants. She waved at the paparazzi and smiled for the clicks. In one snap, makeup products from her beauty brand Kylie Cosmetics were showcased on a table underlining her usage of the same. In the last photograph, Kylie shared the same frame with her sister Kim Kardashian, who was also dressed to the nines for the Met Gala.
Agreeing with Kylie Jenner’s “princess” caption, her sister Khloe Kardashian commented, “You literally were and probably are”. Kylie’s mother Kris Jenner wrote, “STUNNING my beautiful PRINCESS”. “Your dress was sensational,” gushed one admirer. “The Queen of the Met Gala,” declared another.
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner has hogged the limelight for another reason. In a viral video, Italian model Eugenio Casnighi her 2023 Met Gala “greeter” shared that he was fired from this year’s event for his handsome looks causing him to outshine Kylie. The Kardashians star is yet to comment on the matter.
