On Wednesday, the digital payments platform PhonePe in India announced a promotion in honor of Akshaya Tritiya. On April 22, 2023, PhonePe will offer cashback on digital gold purchased through the app.
Through the app, customers can purchase the highest purity 24K gold with no fees and free storage. PhonePe stated that the partner, on behalf of the customer, stores the purchased gold in bank-grade, insured lockers.
On April 22, gold purchases of at least one gram will be eligible for the cashback, which can be as little as Rs 50 or as much as Rs 500.
According to PhonePe, customers can purchase certified 24K digital gold with a purity of 99.99 percent from the partners on PhonePe. The funds from any sale of their stored gold are credited to their bank accounts within 48 hours.
Digitally purchased certified 24K gold is stored in free* bank-grade gold lockers and does not incur any processing fees. Aside from one time buy, PhonePe said it engages each Indian to put resources into gold carefully through Taste and assists clients with effective money management long haul efficiently.
On the PhonePe platform, high-purity 24K gold has been purchased by over one crore customers in India from more than 19,000 pin codes at transparent prices.
On PhonePe, follow these steps to purchase gold and receive cashback:
Step 1: On the bottom strip of the PhonePe app homepage, tap “Wealth.”
Step 2: On the Wealth screen, select Gold.
Step 3: Select “Buy One Time”
Step 4: Select “Buy in grams” and add at least 1 gram of 24K gold.
Step 5: After reviewing the final details of the gold purchase, select “Proceed to Pay” using UPI. Now that’s done!
The PhonePe app will soon display the updated gold balance for users. Post fruitful buy, clients will get a cashback in their PhonePe gift voucher balance.
