Petrosexual: Sean Rogers Pachigalla and his love for cars

We chat with Sean Rogers Pachigalla about his love for cars and bikes and what he’d like to do with the last litre of fuel on Earth.

What are you driving/riding and why? 

I drive an Audi R8 V10 Plus for its naturally aspirated engine; a drag-spec, rear mid-engined Skoda Octavia RS, and a turbocharged Honda Civic. I also ride a BMW S1000RR (K67) for its performance and 600cc-like handling.

What’s next on your wish list?

Maybe another naturally aspirated V10/V12 car. 

The most fun you’ve had in a car?

On my recent drive from Delhi to Leh via Srinagar in the R8. It was super fun and the best experience I’ve had so far. 

Dream money-no-object car/bike?

Since I’m into drag racing, I’ve always fancied the Top Fuel car and bike dragsters. 

Who is your all-time greatest motorsport hero?

Valentino Rossi. Even in his 40s, he performed on par with young guns. 

Favourite road?

From Zoji La Zero Point till Dras in Jammu and Kashmir. The tarmac is just amazing, with the best corners. 

What’s on your automotive bucket list?

To drive the Nürburgring in Germany in a Porsche 911 (992) GT3 RS. 

What would you do with your last litre of fuel?

Do a quarter-mile run. 

Your ideal 5-car/bike garage would be?

BMW M5 (F90), Lamborghini Aventador, Top Fuel drag car, Top Fuel drag bike and the Ducati Panigale V4 S.

What was your first car/bike?

My first bike was a Kawasaki Eliminator in 2002 and my first car was a Honda Civic with a Mugen bodykit in 2007.
