Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s family engaged in several games as a lead up to the grand wedding in Udaipur.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had a dreamy wedding in Udaipur’s Leela Palace. Many photo and videos from the ceremony has gone viral garnering thousands of likes from fans, well wishers and everyone around. The actress who has been sharing glimpses from her wedding festivities from the past few days has dropped another photo album, a look at ‘not-so-traditional rituals in her traditional wedding’.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Sunday, Parineeti shared a slew of snaps featuring the family members of the bride and groom, engaging in fun games like musical chairs and the three-legged race. A quick glance at the jolly carousel and one would also spot Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, participating in their respective teams. Sharing what sort of games they played, Parineeti Chopra penned in the caption, “Time to spill the beans on our not-so-traditional rituals, to kickstart our traditional Indian wedding!”
She continued, “Musical Chairs: A high-stakes dance-off where everyone cheats. Lemon & Spoon Race: All those years in school sports days did not prepare you for this. Three-Legged Race: More difficult than hitting a cricket century, bruises are inevitable, but the bonds you forge are priceless. Cricket: Watch out for cricket legends within the fam (especially your mother-in-law, who will change the game with a wicket on the final ball, and win the game). The bride uses her bridal power to bring World Cup cricketers to her side.”
Finally, Parineeti went on to reveal the big winners, “Now, about setting the trend: It’s not just about winning or losing. It’s about the incredible moments, the cheers, the laughter, and most importantly, the bonds formed. Our Chadha-Chopra War was an epic battle where both sides emerged victorious and hearts were well and truly conquered. ❤️,” she concluded.
Parineeti and Raghav’s pre-wedding ceremonies kicked off in Delhi with a Sufi night which was followed by an Ardaas ceremony. The couple then arrived in Udaipur where Parineeti’s Choora and Mehndi ceremony were held on September 23. The two also hosted a mega Sangeet ceremony on the same day. They tied the knot on September 24.
