Parineeti Chopra officially begins her music career. The actress took to her Instagram handle to pen a heartwarming post to announce the same.
While Parineeti Chopra continues to prove her mettle with rich content-driven and commercial films, the actress is all set to officially begin her music career. She has time and again expressed her love for singing and has even showcased her skills on a few occasions, including her wedding day.
Sharing the big news on her Instagram handle, Parineeti penned a heartwarming note. The actress wrote, “Music, to me, has always been my happy place. I’ve watched countless musicians all over the world performing on the stage and now it’s finally my time to be a part of that world.”

She added, “I feel so lucky, blessed and stressed about starting off a whole new chapter in my life and I honestly can’t describe how excited I am to embark on this musical journey. A journey that gives me the opportunity to have two careers at once! How fun (and chaotic ).”
On a closing note, she wrote, “So here’s to embracing the unknown and facing all my fears and kicking off my singing debut! I’m joining hands with the best @entertainmentconsultant and we’ve got some amazing things in store for you all this year. I hope you’re as excited for this as I am!”
The actress, with a background in classical music, is taking her singing passion to new heights. As the first actress to venture into live singing, she has joined Entertainment Consultant LLP, a renowned name in the entertainment world affiliated with TM Ventures Pvt Ltd. and TM Talent Management. This exciting move is sure to elevate the joy among her fans, adding another dimension to their admiration for her.
On the work front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in the Tinu Suresh Desai directorial Mission Ranihanj, starring opposite Akshay Kumar. The film was based on the real-life story of mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who rescued 60 trapped miners in a flooded coal mine. Although the thriller enjoyed a positive word of mouth, it failed to create its magic in theaters.
This year, Parineeti has been roped in for director Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming project, Chamkila. She has been paired with Diljit Dosanjh in the film, which revolves around two Punjabi singers, Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila. While Diljit will play the role of Amarjot Kaur, Parineeti will slip into the shoes of Amar Singh Chamkila.
