OnePlus has announced the rollout of the OxygenOS 13.1.0.580 update for OnePlus 11 5G smartphones in India, reaching users with improved security, stability, and network enhancements. Last week, OnePlus made an announcement on its Community page regarding the release of its latest software update. The OxygenOS 13.1.0.580 update is now being gradually rolled out to OnePlus 11 5G smartphone users in India. This update includes the June 2023 Android security patch as well as various enhancements.
The security patch enhances system security and stability, while the overall update aims to improve the stability of mobile network connections, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The OnePlus 11 OS update carries the firmware version IN CPH2447_13.1.0.580(EX01).
To manually check for the update, OnePlus 11 users can navigate to the Settings app on their phone and proceed to install it by selecting Software update and then downloading the available update.
It is important to mention that the OxygenOS 13.1 update for OnePlus 11 is currently being released exclusively in India. OnePlus has stated that the update will be rolled out gradually, which means that not all users will receive it immediately.
According to the company, a small percentage of users in India have already received the update on June 15, and a wider rollout will follow. OnePlus has also confirmed that the update will become available in the EU/NA region later this month.
At the Cloud 11 launch event earlier this year, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 11 5G smartphone. The device was initially shipped with OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The OnePlus 11 features a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
