After despatching previous orders, Ola will reopen the second and final payment window for the S1 and S1 Pro on January 21.
Having despatched scooters to all customers who were promised a delivery in December, Ola Electric’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has now announced the opening of the company’s second and final payment window. The window will open on January 21 at 6pm and, through its app, customers who have already paid an amount of Rs 20,000, will be able to pay the remaining amount towards their scooters. The payment of the balance amount during this window will effectively confirm their booking of the scooter.
With Ola choosing to provide all its customers with S1 Pro scooters – even to those who ordered the lower-spec S1 – and differentiate the range using performance and features through software, the upcoming payment window is open to buyers of both variants.
Aggarwal also said that deliveries will take place across January and February, to fulfil the orders received during this payment window. Ola claims to have despatched almost 4,000 scooters during its December delivery window. The company has so far not reopened a payment window for customers who have reserved a scooter by paying Rs 499.
